When size dictates transport: Material feed hoppers on their way to the customer

For large systems, transport planning does not begin only when manufacturing is complete. This is also shown by this Material feed bunker from ELMA Anlagenbau, which set off to the customer upon completion.

With a Volume of around 40 m³ and dimensions of approximately 5.4 metres in length, 3.5 metres in width and 3 metres in height has the appropriate dimensions. The journey to the installation site was therefore carried out as heavy load transport and had to be prepared accordingly with great care.

For components of this magnitude, transport planning is an integral part of the project. Already during manufacturing, consideration must be given to how the structure can later be loaded and safely transported to the customer. At ELMA plant engineering meaning that a project does not end at the factory gate. The subsequent steps are also incorporated into the planning at an early stage.
